Here are 5 tips for how to teach ELs to write arguments using evidence: meet students at their level, teach reading and listening with a purpose, model writing, scaffold, and differentiate.This talk gives practical examples for each tip. A typical week in the classroom is described so that teachers can easily integrate the ideas into their own lessons.
